Sensei Level

This is the main level of your account and also determines how many levels your characters can reach, if your Sensei is 50 then, your characters can only reach up to level 50. Sensei level can be upped by using Action Points which is simply Stamina, Action points regenerate at a rate of 1 AP per 6-8 minutes. The conversion rate for experience is 1:1 which means using AP anywhere is the same for leveling up Sensei level.

Campaign Missions

You will see the core gameplay and all the content the game has to offer here. The campaign includes Missions. The game’s main story content is here, you can progress through the by completing the various stages.

Every Mission stage has both Normal and Hard tabs, where Normal tabs are for progressing through the story and Hard stages have Character’s Eleph as rewards, Eleph’s are used for unlocking characters and for unlocking Mystic which is similar to the ascension of a character.

Mission Requirements

On the Mission info, you will see the enemy’s structure/ lineup and Requirements for S rank clear which is the three-star clear. Different stages will always have the same requirement for three-star clear, that is-

1. Mission complete
2. Acquire S rank ‘x’ times
3. Clear stage within ‘x’ turns

The only thing that changes is the number of times an S rank is required and clearing the stage within a variable number of turns. So be sure to see what they are and attempt accordingly.

Checking your Enemy Lineup

Checking the lineup before the battle is highly recommended, so you will have a better idea for countering them. Now enemies have attributes of two types just like your characters, which are an Attack attribute and an armor attribute and there is actually an attack and defense effectiveness mechanic in the game, the table below will show how that relationship works.

Resist means any attacks for that enemy will get reduced to a mere 50% of dmg, whereas weak means extra 50% damage on the enemy, and normal means no such change. So from this, you can easily understand why lineup optimization is important, and you don’t wanna go against enemies that have to resist your characters.

This synergy is universal and works for all game content, so even if you have slightly low power units then your main team uses them to gain the advantage, aside from some characters in very particular situations, it’s better most of the time to use this advantage.

Leveling and Upgrading your Character

Aside from skills and equipment, the easiest way to upgrade a character is by increasing their level. Character level however is capped up to your Sensei level, which means character level can’t exceed your account level.

The Material used for increasing experience is Activity Report, these mainly have four types which are Novice Activity Report, Normal Activity Report, Advanced Activity Report, and Superior Activity Report. The best place to farm Activity Report is by farming on Base Defence Stages from the Commissions.

Unlocking Mystic

This is basically the ascension of a character to the next tier and uses Character Elephs for it. Character Eleph can be bought from the shop using the special currency Eligma which can be obtained by getting dupes of characters through the gacha.

Ascension for every tier is different, see the details below to see the exact amount needed.

• 1 Star  to 2 Star – 30 Shards
• 2 Star  to 3 Star – 80 Shards
• 3 Star  to 4 Star – 100 Shards
• 4 Star  to 5 Star – 120 Shards

Now some character shards are farmable from Hard Stages but most of them are limited and can only be bought from the shop, so make sure to plan and use your Eligma carefully.

Mastering the Character Skills

Skills play a very important role in a character’s damage potential aside from team synergy and equipment. Each character in the game can have four different kinds of skills, Normal skill, Passive Skill, EX skill, and Sub skill. Normal and EX skill are available from base rating and subsequent Passive Skill and Sub Skill are unlocked at 2 stars and 3 stars respectively.

• Normal Skill: Normal skills are frequently used by the characters on the battlefield after a certain number of turns, leveling it should provide some damage increase.
• EX Skill: The most important skill for any character as it determines their role, and has some very powerful effects, from providing high damage output to team buffs and more. This skill should be the top priority for investment except for some characters.
• Passive and Sub Skill: These skills provide self-support for the character, and they can provide increased stats, buffs, or even increase the damage potential of already powerful EX skills.

Priority of skill leveling depends on the character’s role for the most part, as some have powerful EX skills, others have important Sub Skill, so keep that in mind when you level them.

Taking the Lessons

You can take Special Lessons in various schools of Kivotos, at the start of the game each player will have a limit of 3 Lesson tickets per day which will get increased as you level up various School Ranks through the lessons. The tickets will get refreshed every day, however extra tickets can be bought from the Shop through Pyroxenes.

Lessons are mostly used to increase student bonds but can also provide some extra rewards, which have a relatively low probability to show up, so should not be considered as a reliable source of items. 

In different locations, you will see groups of three students, two students, or only a single person, try to optimize the ticket usage by teaching more students, in a single lesson.

Understanding the MomoTalk and increasing Bonds

You can increase bonds with various students by interacting with them in lessons, or in the cafe. As your relationship progresses, you can communicate with them through MomoTalk to learn more about them.
